Chief Engineer Samson Kolawole Ojo is a distinguished Civil Engineer and an astute administrator per excellence with over 34 years of professional experience.
He earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin in 1989. Over the course of his career, he has attended numerous workshops, seminars, and training programs both within and outside Nigeria, enhancing his expertise in civil engineering and administration.
Chief Engr. Samson Kolawole Ojo began his career as a Contract Staff with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), where he served from 1990 to 1999. He later joined the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission as an Engineer in 1999, steadily rising through the ranks to become Director of Works. In this role, he supervised numerous large-scale projects, including road construction, buildings, and dam construction.
He ultimately attained the pinnacle of his civil service career as the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) within the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, a position he held until his retirement in 2024.
